If you are applying from inside the U.S and trying to meet the Feb 23, 2020 deadline, but cannot get your medical exam done in time, you can submit the rest of your application BEFORE the medical exam is done. Usually we suggest applicants include the medical exam with their application as this is the simplest way. However, given the impending deadline, you may consider the other options.
According to the USCIS, if you are applying for adjustment of status, you may submit Form I-693 (a.k.a. the medical exam):
- By mail with your Form I-485
- By mail after filing your Form I-485 to the location specified in your most recent communication with USCIS (for example, a Request for Evidence letter from USCIS).
- In person at an interview in a USCIS field office (if an interview is required).
If you do decide to submit your medical exam separately, you can delete the medical exam line item in the cover letter GreenCardHero generates for you. A simple copy and paste to Microsoft Word should do the job 👍
