GreenCardHero does not share your Collected Information with third parties for their marketing purposes. GreenCardHero does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists to third parties.
We may share your information with third parties if you provide us with authorization to do so. For example, if you include personal information in a review or testimonial of our Software for posting to social media platforms, such information will be publicly disclosed upon posting.
We may share your Collected Information with third-party service providers (such as Intercom for providing chat support, and MailChimp for sending email communications), but only to the extent necessary for them to assist us in providing our Websites and Software.
We will not voluntarily disclose your Collected Information. However, we may disclose your Collected Information as required by law, such as in response to a court order, subpoena, or similar legal process legally requiring us to produce the information. If legally permitted and feasible, we will give you notice of our receipt of a demand for your Collected Information and provide you a reasonable time in which to seek to quash such demand in court, or otherwise obtain a withdrawal or modification of the demand, before complying with the demand.

As a general matter, however, an acquiring party cannot retroactively change the Privacy Notice that was in place when GreenCardHero collected your Collected Information.
We use Google AdWords Conversion tracker and other Google services (collectively “Google Cookies”) which utilize cookies. These cookies help us increase our Websites effectiveness for our visitors. We also use Google AdWords remarketing to market our Software across the web. It places cookies on a browser that are then read by Google or other third parties, such as advertising networks, which may then serve you an ad on a third party website. We use Stripe as our payment processor. To process payments, Stripe may collect directly from you information such as your name, credit card information, and billing address. We do not collect any of the information directly collected and used by Stripe to process your payment. However, we may access, but not collect, information such as the last four digits of your credit card and postal code for fraud prevention and other related purposes.
We use Google Analytics to collect information about use of the Websites and Software. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users use the Websites or Software, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other websites they used prior to using Websites or Software. We use the information we get from Google Analytics to improve the Websites and Software. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other personal information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to the Websites by disabling cookies on your browser.
Desktop software registration information. You may update your Software Registration Information by emailing us at privacy@GreenCardHero.com.
Email communications: You can stop receiving promotional email communications from us by clicking on the "unsubscribe link" provided in such communications. We make every effort to promptly process all unsubscribe requests. You may not opt out of Software-related communications (e.g., registration verification, transactional communications, changes/updates to features of the Software, technical and security notices).
Modifying or deleting your information: If you have any questions about reviewing, modifying, or deleting your information, or if you want to remove your name or comments from our website, you can contact us directly at privacy@GreenCardHero.com. We may not be able to modify or delete your information in all circumstances.
Data storage and transfer. The Websites and Software are generally intended for United States residents. Your Collected Information may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which GreenCardHero or its affiliates or service providers maintain facilities.
Keeping your information safe. We care about the security of your information and employ physical, administrative, and technological safeguards designed to preserve the integrity and security of all information collected through our Websites and Software. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of our systems 100%. In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and, where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.
We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 on our Websites and Software. If you believe that we might have any information from a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@GreenCardHero.com so we may delete the information.
The Websites and Software may contain links to third party websites. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies. We strongly recommend that you read their privacy policies and terms and conditions of use to understand how they collect, use, and share information. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content on the websites of third party sites.
If you are a California resident, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits you to request information regarding the disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. We will notify you about material changes in the way we treat personal data by sending a notice to the primary email address you included in the Software Registration Information and/or by placing a prominent notice on our website. It is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do change the Privacy Policy, we will also revise the "effective" date.
